How do reading skills differ across languages in Arabic-English bilingual students?

This PhD study examines word reading development in bilingual Arabic-English speakers, with a particular interest in whether children who show a dyslexic reading in profile in one language also have comparable difficulties in their other language. This is of particular interest as English and Arabic are very different from one another in a number of ways, and dyslexia in Arabic speakers is a very under-researched area.
